Where is this instruction? I never saw this in the booklet. I saw a glass of water for conjured candles but never saw any thing saying use a metal plate but see it in people’s posts. I’ve seen little to no movement and am now like did this affect it? I used an aluminum foil cake pan to hold me candles. Thoughts/advice/please.

It’s not required, personally I use the metal plate for fire safety.
