I just spent the last two days covering the protests here in Los Angeles. I got shot with bean bag projectiles filled with metal, they threw percussion grenades at us, cops tried to arrest me several times when I showed my

press credentials. Now we got the fucking national guard rolling through our streets in tanks.

My body is sore, I’m emotionally exhausted and now even more angry. Watching the cops set folks up. Now they put LA county on a 6 pm curfew like we’re a bunch of fucking children. But of course, the super rich areas like Beverly Hills and Santa Monica are on 1pm and 4pm curfews.

Auntie, @The Conjure (Lala) can we get an Erzulie Dantor candle? I think we need our fierce protector of her children out here in these streets.

Or perhaps, could we get a post with info explaining how to properly petition and work with her?
