This is probably a rhetorical question but I just wanted to make sure. Are Mercury dimes okay to use an offering? I have one that I used as protection in the past but since I used it for something else I wanted to know if it would would as an offering?

Usually for Mercury you offer of the metal or something that contains actual mercury. Do Mercury dimes contain actual mercury? If not then you need to get a lightbulb that has mercury, some batteries still do or you can try to find a supplier on the internet where you can buy liquid mercury. Scientific stores have those.
