Hello, this may be a silly question but - must you be initiated to be using the Damballah, Erzulie, Papa Legba candles? I just want to make sure and properly do it so I don’t disrespect any spirit, culture, or religion

I wouldn't teach it like this if you had to be. No. You do not. Legba, Erzulie and Damballah are LWA spirits.
