So... I have the Papa Legba candle on it's way to me and I've read a little bit about the offerings, one being coffee. This is going to sound like such a stupid ass question but I'm genuinely curious. Would he also like a coffee plant? Just in general I mean. I'll still make him fresh black coffee and add other offerings but I just thought maybe he might want a coffee plant on his altar too? I already have one that sits beside my alter area for burning Lala's other candles and ever since I started using her candles its like whatever plant is near them grows so much and is so happy. I just thought maybe I could get a little coffee plant for my Papa Legba altar and make sure it also keeps growing big and strong for him? Or is that like really disrespectful?? I'm new to the LWA spirits so I dont want to do anything disrespectful

For Lala's spelled or conjure candles, I don't think you NEED one but I just have an area that's set up in a way specifically for her candles to be burned. For her LWA candles, I believe you do.

I never thought about that. I wouldn’t put it on the altar but have it near. Papa will let you know if he likes it or not. Good idea tho.
