I don’t know how to explain it but I’ve been following hoodoo amongst a lot of things actually since middle school (almost 30) and I want to peruse even more. but since I’ve been following @Lala Inuti Ahari ive been having this feeling of getting a papa legba candle and every time I do more research (than I’ve already have) I get emotional.. I cry to myself with so much emotion as I’m reading. No matter when I look him up (grateful tears). I feel as if I need this, however I do not know why. I feel like I’m being called to him. I don’t have anything specific to ask for (I wouldn’t be looking to ask him for anything currently and I don’t feel as if I want to ask him for anything I just have an urge to say thank you). So I’m confused as to why I have such a strong feeling To connect. Has anyone that is more experienced felt this before? I’ve never done a conjured candle but I feel as if I need to. Again, even though my current situation could always be improved, I do not want to ask specially for anything from papa just yet, so I haven’t gotten a candle for him. Thoughts?

Well, the best way to build a good relationship with a spirit is by spending time honoring them for a while before asking for anything from them. By the time you do need to petition, they've already stepped in on your behalf. So, go ahead and build you Papa Legba altar, light your red/black candles and chat him up over rum 🖤❤😉
