Watching this movie on HULU called “Brown Girl Begins”, and they have someone playing Papa Legba. Still learning on the history on Papa Legba so I’m not sure how accurate this is, but I thought that was pretty cool.

Yall gotta stop letting mainstream media determine your faith. That fear and uncertainty you feel was intentionally put there so you wouldn't find your true power with Vodou. Legba is a kind spirit. There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Quit letting oppressors dictate your reality. If you've been thinking about Legba it's probably because your spirit guides/ancestors are bringing you to him. Gain your own understanding with everything you do.
