Good morning Papa just finished burning last night. Can I take his alter down? And if so should I keep the rum and cigars or just discard it. Also am I supposed to remove the remaining wax and clean the candle glass?? I would love to keep his alter up but it’s so many people in my house right now and I’m my business. Me taking down his alter won’t mess up anything with him would it?

You ladies are awesome! Ok I won’t take it down and I will refresh his water and coffee daily. I think I’m gonna put the alter in a safe place in my basement that way I don’t have to worry about anyone snooping. Should I light red and black candles in papas alter from time to time?
And veve is to invite the presence of divine spirits.
No leave it ! Only change the water daily (doesn’t matter whos there) I have been in same situation if u can just turn the name away so they can’t see it.. or move it somewhere out of sight n when asked just say pls don’touch it it’s where I do my daily prayer for god ! Boom that’s it’s.. Don’t overthink it so much .. people that don’t know these things usual don’t pay much attention to it after noticing it the first time (spirit will distract and protect )

Right regardless of your target I would not take my alter down for anyone..keep it up n refresh it (no do not take it down could possible none affective)
You need to change out the water and coffee when it gets old. You have to treat papa as he is real. Because he IS. Would you want someone giving you stale water and coffee? In order for you to keep up a relationship with a LOA you have to constantly tall talk to them, refresh their altar. Like when you refreshing his altar just be like "papa how are today?" "Do you like the things I'm leaving on your altar." He will start to talk to you by showing you signs.
I appreciate everyone’s opinion but again I have people snooping thru my things and I don’t feel comfortable yet. If your target was around and snooping would you all leave evidence around? I still would like an answer to my question if anyone can help me. If I take down papa alter would it mess up anything I petitioned him for?
Girl that is YOUR house at the end of the day. If you wanna have 8 altars up you can. It could be decoration girl. How they supposed to know 🤷🏿♀️

Also can I use this same alter to burn other candles or was this one only for papa and I need to make a new alter for the other candles? Can I dispose the water and coffee?
I wouldn’t take the alter down u can keep it up n leave the rum n cigars n maybe just clean it up A bit.. and don’t ever feel like you have to explain to anyone what you do to protect yourself n home spiritually.. as far as they know it’s to meditate PERIOD.. but anyway (I believe you can remove the candle though).. if you have the booklet it definitely should help you step by step love.
