Can I write my petition ahead of time before receiving my conjured candles? or should I do it the day I light the candle?

Yes. Doing this ahead of time set things in motion and will give you the opportunity to edit or add anything. I always do and read it aloud to see if it makes sense and needs fine tuning. It will also build your confidence in conjuring.
Either...whatever you feel lead to do honestly
