OK, please advise because I want to be sure that I am respecting the spirits that are helping and that I’m not doing too much at once. I worked both the candle and altar for second pentacle of Mars yesterday, for my mother. Today I wanted to work the Mercury altar. This is more so for family, however, it includes Mom, but I am worried if it’s too soon for me to work with Mercury because I just worked with Mars last night. Do I need to allow a certain number of days to pass in between? Or is it alright for me to Work with the Mercury Altar today?
I appreciate any feedback and advice.

It's best to Conjure on their day. If it's an emergency then ask permission to use that day, thank them and dismiss. You should wait 3 days before working another candle unless it relates to the same. Don't overthink it. Leaving a fresh glass of water in the altar and burning incense is fine in between your work.
