When you protect your work, do you put Mars in between each layer of work, or only use Mars at the beginning and end?

I do mars at the end. Seem like too much to do it after every candle. Now i will say i do after every type of work. Money work, protect, healing work and protect that and myself
Some do Mars after every candle but I just do it every 2 or 3 candles
