Is it ok to have candles lit while others are around? I have a friend coming over and don’t want to put my DA candle out, I like my candles to burn out by itself after lighting.

Yes you can light your candle(s) when other people are around. If you don’t want someone to see it then don’t light it or put it in a different room.
