Good afternoon Conjure Family. Blessings to you all. I had a question regarding Papa Legba and your advice is appreciated. Iโm in the process of establishing a relationship with him and about 2 weeks ago I burned my Legba candle for 6 hours where I first petitioned him to work with him and establish relationship with him. The flame was burning high initially and I could tell he appreciated the beautiful altar I set up for him in my home that has everything that he likes. Since then, every Monday and Saturday, I light a red candle stick to honor him and I always make sure to change the offerings such as offering him fresh water, rum, coffee and candy. I havenโt burned the Legba candle yet though I can tell he comes when I honor him when I light a red candle stick. The water begins to bubble like the soda Sprite when I light the red candle stick (not the Legba Candle) and when I do that, I invoke him by using the red candle stick and I welcome him in to my home and I be sure to say to him to feel welcome and to enjoy the offerings. I then proceed to just talk to him about my day or how my week went and my question, how long should I keep the conversation going? Yesterday, I burned a red candle stick and talked to him for about 1.5 hours. I also burned his cigar and mentioned to him to enjoy it. Any advice is appreciated.

Also, when we honor him on his days, do we use the same petition those days until we see movement or once we state what we need we move on to the next...
Hey, I had another question. When you say โI light himโ, do you burn the Legba candle or a red candle? I usually use a red candle stick to honor him on his days, though I still feel his uplifting presence and the water does bubble up. ๐๐ป๐ฏ
