So last night I lit my crossroad’s candle (around 730pm) everything is going good. Nice strong flame dancing, before I went to bed (around 1am), flame was still going. When I woke up just a little bit ago, flame to have went off on its own, which Kinda confused me. Is it a possibility that spirit changed their mind because it was either protecting me or im kinda forcing the issue?

The wick could have drowned. Maybe it is spirit protecting you from a fire. Either way, the spell is complete.
