I know when first lighting the candle it’s a minimum of 6 hours, but what about after? Can you light it for a few hours? Or is it recommended to do it for 6 hour increments?

Yes, but for conjure candles they say no more than 6
If not 6 then as long as you want, sometimes if more than 6 it’s stronger

Every time you light it should be the minimum 6 hours.
My plan is to light for six hours each day. They say not to leave it burning while you sleep
