My 2.5 daughter has autism & needed surgery for her top lip tie. She is very aware of her surroundings & can even tell when something is out of order. So, the night before I let her stay up so she can sleep late the next morning. Hoping she would sleep through getting to the doc & getting prepped. Wrong! She went to bed at 2am & still woke up at 7am. Her appt was at 10am. I sprayed Simi into my hands before we left home & asked for my daughter to not throw any tantrums & to heal like nothing ever happened. We got to the doc on time. We dressed her & I walked her to the operation room. She did clench on to me bc she knew something was not normal but she still sang down the hallway. I laid her down, she cried for about 5 seconds & went to sleep after the anesthesia. About 45 minutes later, my husband asked if that was her that he heard singing. I looked around the curtain, and it was my daughter singing again coming down the hall, even laying her head on the nurses shoulder 🥹 she doesn't like anyone yall. She had to get 2 stitches & they advised to give pain meds in about 4 hours. We haven't given her any pain medicine since the surgery and she has not cried once! No pain, irritation or anything! It's like nothing happened! Simi has come through each and every time for me and my family. Lala did her big one with this. Forever grateful 🥹
