I received my sweetening candle today and it is without a lid which I have no problem with that. However, parts of the jar and interior of the box (yellow patches) are sticky which I assume it to be melted honey/sugar from the candle during transport.. being a little OCD 🙈, the stickiness do bother me a little bit and I wonder if anyone is able to advise whether can I clean the exterior of the jar entirely prior to lighting up the work? Will it affect anything?
