I thought snuffing and blowing out the candle were the same thing but I read a response from someone that said not to blow it out, but snuff it. Is that true and if so, why? I don't have a problem with snuffing, just want to understand why I'm doing it.

I'm using a conjure candle it was in a box, there's no lid. I read that I could use a ceramic plate and place it on top.
You can also just place the lit that came with the candle on top to snuff it out 🙂💜

What method do you use when you snuff? I'd rather not pinch.
I was taught you shouldn’t blow out the candle because you blow away the intent or energy of the spell. So I snuff or pinch.
