I finally had the chance to finish my unhex candle yesterday. As it was nearing the end with wax still left, my smoke detector went off. I had my window open but that didn’t work. What other ways can I finish the last burn of my candle without setting off any alarms

Move the herbs away from the wick. It should finish off without smoke
