Hey please help me here. So my brother in-law die overseas and myself and husband is going ( I try telling him to go alone but he insists in me going too) but the issue is I turned Citizen when the Pandemic started and didn’t apply for my passport. So now I have to get an Expedited one but they really only do it for Immediate family . But I got the appointment to go on Thursday with the death certificate and ticket Reservation , which I have. So I need favor for this one. Any suggestions 😫

Ok thank you
You should be all good. I didn’t have any of that going on and got my passport expedited to me within a few weeks. I applied on the 25th and my passport was printed on the 14th the following month and shipped a day or two later via USPS. So it’s moving quickly. It might be even quicker for you with all of your documents.
Yes I have that
If you have a ticket they should expedite it, I had a similar situation and had a 24hr turn around time to go back to pick up the passport.
Ok cool thank you
They will see the names. And I don’t know if they check all your information from Uscis😫
Just tell them its YOUR brother and leave off the "in law" part. That is that!
