Has anyone had to move wax out of the way so the candle could burn. My flame went out once due to the wax being so high . My flame is now lit and crackling no longer really low.
Unless there is a second wood wick added or that the thickness/width or the wick is adjusted to the wax or top circumference of the candle - this will be an ongoing problem to many im afraid. Also I noticed that during cold days, the wax near the border never melts totally, so the wick funnel down the candle and drown within its own wax. So maybe put the candle among other tea lights or in a warm room a few hours could help.
If the wax is already too high I don't see how making the wick shorter would help.
I would take a paper towel and absorb a small amount of the wax if it is near going out. You could also chant on it again, sometimes that helps the fire pick up some energy.
This has happened to a few of my candles. Im trying to figure out a long term solution now
Hey honey, I just scoop it out with a teaspoon!
