ive noticed since I started burning (heck even since the candle arrived at my house), he’s been much less communicative, only texting when I text him first (we’re usually pretty equal when it comes to initiating conversation) and giving very short answers.
we’ve had a GREAT relationship this far and just spent yesterday together
should I be worried about spirit trying to remove him from my life or is this a cleansing/healing shift?

Funny-ass analogy from @Dominik 😂😂😂 but no truer words have been said by him and @SUNNY.111 . Not everyone has this happen, but oftentimes it does. We cleanse and clear ourselves from what is hurting more than healing, and those close to us catch that hit because of our attachments to them. Think of it like someone smokin a blunt and a non-smoker around them catches the effect .... A "spiritual contact", in a sense. They'll start to acknowledge the things that have been on and with them that isn't healthy, and step back because they know it's gotta be fixed before they allow those issues to hurt them further or someone they care for. This is only a suggestion but if you feel it would be beneficial because of how much you care for him, consider one day devoting a good 6 hours of your candle to work on him as well, if you have that much of your candle to spare. He very well may have things to work through and doesn't know how to get through them. Now, it doesn't take away from what Sunny addressed in her comment: some people have ill intentions and seek out others for their personal gain. They'll charm, sweet talk, hold the facade as long as it takes until they have you hooked, then show their true selves. Don't jump the gun with that knowledge; do what she suggested, and reach out to see if there was reasons for the lag in communication. If it continues and you see him becoming less of what he used to be and more of what he shouldn't toward you, take it as spirit helping you dodge a bullet and move around it. Sometimes Spirit needs to clear old conditions away which may seem like the opposite is happening. I always use this analogy: your toilet is clogged, you use a plunger and the poop flows all over the place but eventually goes down. So think of him retreating as perhaps him regrouping his thoughts.
If spirit is trying to remove him from your life they might see something you don't. U/H/H will sometimes remove the rose colored glasses from your eyes in order to show you where healing and cleansing is necessary - don't miss the yellow/red flags.
However, if this is someone you really like you should communicate with them and not jump to conclusions. Check in with them first to see if there is a plausible explanation for the changes. (i.e. life changes, stress, illness, etc.).
